Host: you are from the coal industry. The public has a stereotyped impression of coal. When it comes to coal mining, everyone will feel unsafe, dirty, and not environmentally friendly. Even there is a call for coal removal in the society. What do you think of it as a coal industry practitioner?

Yao Wujiang: the coal industry has been looking for ways to improve, including changes in technology, investment, methods and systems. The state, province, city and group companies are making great efforts, so we hope the public can take a positive view in the future.

Host: I hope you can briefly summarize what efforts should be made by the coal industry to achieve high-quality development?

Yao Wujiang: with the removal of coal and production capacity in recent years, it forces us to achieve high-quality development as soon as possible. In fact, this is very good. Not only in the well, including underground, all aspects should be high-quality development. Coal mining occupies a certain position in the national economy and has an irreplaceable position in the economic system. About 70% of the coal mines in the country have reached low emissions. In the future, it may also be ultra-low emissions, ultra-low emissions, or near zero emissions. Enterprises are gradually upgrading, so it is certain to win the blue sky defense war.

The underground high-quality development, that is to say, take the road of reducing the quality and green, truly realize mechanization, informatization, intelligence and unmanned, and develop towards a diversified perspective. I believe that in the end, safety, efficiency and quality are all improved.

Coal industry has realized intellectualization, mechanization and unmanned

Host: there are many intelligent, mechanized and even unmanned management in the coal industry you just mentioned. Are there any cases in your daily technical research and management?

Yao Wujiang: this kind of case does exist, and it is a model. Many state-owned enterprises have realized it, and a few people are working underground. For example, Yangmei group is promoting safe energy and intelligent mining, and has formed "technology map, management network". Such a management, information and open management mode is actively promoting technological innovation and coal consumption revolution.

So every group is trying to try this kind of information, intelligent and diversified development, and integrate big data, Internet and real economy to develop together. This is a trend, we hope to exclude objective factors, because the geological conditions of each place are different, and try our best to achieve high-quality development of coal.

Host: you just introduced that Yangmei group has made a lot of contributions to the high-quality development of the coal industry, but the development of the coal industry is not in a completely balanced state at present. The advanced experience you just mentioned needs to be further promoted, or to make a management improvement in the industry.

Yao Wujiang: it's very necessary. The coal industry is a multi angle, multi system, multi work complex project, which needs the support of multiple departments, and at the same time, it needs the strength of all people to promote. Of course, there are also problems at present. For example, the quality of equipment produced by various manufacturers is uneven, and the communication protocol is not unified, which brings inconvenience to the realization of intelligence. So I hope to integrate scientific research enterprises, equipment manufacturers and vocational colleges from the perspective of the state to form resource sharing, and further refine and standardize the equipment and quality, so as to make the equipment more stable and reliable.

Coal industry implements "mass entrepreneurship and innovation";

Compere: as the representative of the people's Congress and the youngest skill master of Yangmei group, how do you carry out your technology and research and development? Can you give us two examples?

Yao Wujiang: for example, although I often encounter various problems in competitions, I will continue to explore in a dialectical way. Just like we have wiring technology in the competition, a person may be able to peel one wire at a time, but after our research and continuous exploration, we can peel 8-10 wires at the last time. In fact, it's very easy for you to break a chopstick, but it's very difficult for you to break a chopstick. That is to say, we must change our thinking and keep up with the needs of modern times.

We have been promoting "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" in scientific research. Coal enterprises have invested a lot in "five small" innovation. In 2017, the "five small" innovation won the special prize of Shanxi coal industry. It is mainly about how to solve the problems found underground and how to adapt the research to the needs of modern coal production, which needs to be considered from its safety, economy, cost and other aspects. After the design, the effect is very good whether it is the cooperation between the object and the manufacturer or the combination of the whole set of things. In the past, it was very difficult to start under heavy load, and maintenance was very time-consuming, and the effect of dust elimination was not obvious. However, after the application of my invention "improvement of belt mechanic device", the problems mentioned above have been basically solved.

Compere: in this process, how do you advance innovation step by step?

Yao Wujiang: it's really very difficult to improve this thing. It took a lot of time. First, we set up a project within the enterprise, because every year our studio has task indicators, initially set up a general theoretical framework, and then make a model through the theoretical framework.
